We are fully registered and insured, being licensed in Costa Rica.

Meet your Crew

Andy Shapiro, Owner/Captain

Andy developed a love of the water as a young boy and began his career as a saltwater fisherman at the age of nine. He has spent more than forty years fishing up and down the East Coasts of the US, Mexico and Central America. A licensed captain for twenty-five years, he's owned offshore fishing boats from 27-61 feet. His current boat, The Clean Sweep, is a fully rigged 36' Jersey Cape specifically designed to fish the waters off the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

Jose, Your Mate

Jose has fished the Pacific waters around Los Suenos for many years - he is intimately familiar with all rigging and tactics to use in these waters. Jose is fluent in both English and Spanish and will meet your needs while fishing on the Clean Sweep.
